Sur Shot Mode is a TrailMAC
Exclusive feature. That is, it is only available on
TrailMAC Game Scouting Cameras. Sur Shot is designed to
first test the speed of the animal detected by the motion sensor
prior to shuttering a photo. If the animal satisfies the
slow speed test, a photo is taken. This mode, USER
ACTIVATED, helps weed out UNWANTED PHOTOS of birds, and
scampering critters such as squirrels.
Originally designed for our
film style game cameras, Sur Shot is now used on all 2008
digitals, and can work for trails as well as feeder set-ups,
scrapes, and water holes.
HOW DOES IT WORK? Once
motion is detected, the digital camera is immediately turned on
and prepares to take a photo. If the speed test is
satisfied, the internal CPU, then signals the camera to shutter
a photo! If the speed test is not satisfied, no photo is
taken and the camera will turn off again and wait for another
motion detect.
